Jon Collins began working in the industry in the mid-80's gaining experience in most departments on his way to becoming one of the first post-producers in London.

He joined Framestore in January 1996 as Head of Production and two years later took a seat on the board as Facilities Director. As the company developed into areas such as Film and TV work, Jon assumed overall control of the Commercials Dept. In this time, the department gained a great reputation for it's award winning work such as Levis' Odyssey', Chrysler 'Golden Gate', X-box 'Mosquito', Johnnie Walker 'Fish'.

In January 2004, Collins opened Framestore New York to service the advertising market in the US. From a small team of three people the company now employs over 50 people and has worked on a variety of award winning campaigns. The company helped to rebrand the popular Geico gecko icon in 2005 and has since worked on each subsequent campaign as well as Superbowl spots for FedEx ('Stick' and 'Pigeons'), E-Trade 'Baby' , GE 'Crane', Pepsi 'Penguin' and for the opening of the Winter Olympics, AT&T 'UP & Up'.

In 2009 the NY office opened a Film VFX Dept and has worked on 'Clash of the Titans' and the new Angelina Jolie film 'Salt' amongst others.
