Ed, a life-long entrepreneur and avid technologist, joined kbs+p in January 2010 as Chief Creative Technologist. In July, he took on additional responsibility as Chief Creative Officer, and works with partner Izzy DeBellis, to combine great storytelling with digital innovation to fully engage consumers in dynamic and relevant ways for brands like BMW, PUMA and Giorgio Armani.
Ed began his career at the Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG), where he oversaw the global enterprise application development teams and was co-founder and COO of SPLIT, a creative technology organization. With over ten years of experience on blue-chip brands such as Microsoft, MasterCard and Verizon, Ed has deployed scores of enterprise and consumer-facing applications, across all mediums [web/mobile/desktop] and brings a progressive, digital focus into the agency environment.
At kbs+p, he enjoys directly infusing emerging technology trends and capabilities into the ideation and execution phase of client and brand work. As founder of Spies & Assassins, kbs+p's creative technology and intellectual property boutique, Ed and his technology teams work to concept and build white-label digital tools and platforms for consumers and brands. These products include TwitHit, a smart phone app that enables users to automatically follow someone on Twitter using Bump technology and Monster Maker, an animated game and entertainment property.
Like a true native New Yorker, Ed is always on the move (literally). He currently resides in Gramercy, his eighth neighborhood in Manhattan.
